I was honored to photograph Will Davison’s talk on transness and workplace inclusion at Manyone. This session focused on themes such as how learning from trans people reveals systemic harms, the power of curiosity to dismantle discrimination, and the rejection of a rigid male/female sex binary.
Through my photography, I aimed to capture the atmosphere of openness and dialogue - moments where ideas, identities, and empathy came into focus. I sought to highlight gestures of connection, expressions of thought, and the emotional resonance of Will’s words.
Will’s key statements included:
“Learning from trans people can help us understand systemic harm.”
“Curiosity is the only way to deeply benefit everybody when fighting discrimination.”
“There is no clear male/female sex binary.”
My images visually reflect these insights - creating space for reflection and visibility, and reinforcing the message that inclusion and awareness are central to sustainable workplaces.
Special thanks to Sven Ekert for organizing the event, and to Will Davison for trusting me to document this important moment.
